Mulberry Talent Partners has joined with our client, a company located in Downtown Portland, to identify a to join their team. This is a direct-hire, full-time, hybrid position. The Human Resource Manager will assist in growing HR capabilities by providing a combination of operational and transactional support to the company. This essential role works with Management, providing company with an engaging, supportive, informed and legally astute culture. The HR Manager will provide impeccable service to employee and managers and play a critical role in company operations.

Your Role:

  • Administers all HR-related systems, policies, and procedures
  • Recruit positions throughout the company working closely with Hiring Managers
  • Manage onboarding and orientation of new employees, as well as exit interviews and off-boarding of departing staff
  • Evaluate and improve internal HR systems and operations, helping to create programs assigned and identified by firm management
  • Administers Employee benefits
  • Maintain employee records and databases
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment and pay equity laws
  • Maintain employee handbook, and provide HR policy guidance and interpretations
  • Administer and manage leave programs
  • Design and implement employee engagement systems and programs
  • Administer and manage mentor and extern programs
  • Assist with conflict resolution and employee relations matters, including conducting thorough and objective investigations
  • Assist with performance evaluations and employee development
  • Assist in providing coaching, counseling, and career development
  • Support company Diversity, Equity and Inclusion strategy and initiatives

You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business, or other relevant field, or 4 additional years of experience in lieu of a degree
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience working in Human Resources
  • Ability to provide presentations and trainings a plus
  • HR Certification a plus
  • Recruiting, EEOC and ERISA experience is desired
  • Knowledge of employment laws in Oregon, Washington, and California
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Compensation: $85,000-$100,000/year
