Great opportunity to become fully immersed in employee relations and work for a 100% employee-owned, local company. You will report directly to the Employee Relationships Manager.
A day in the life:
- Meets regularly with managers and supervisors to understand their needs and department goals.
- Recommends conflict resolution practices that support equity and inclusivity goals.
- Completes employee terminations, documents feedback & coaching.
- Assesses conflict trends including potential biases in resolution and analyzes retention trends to propose and implement mitigations including training programs.
Your areas of knowledge and expertise:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
- 3+ years of employee relations experience
- Working knowledge of OR and US employment law
- Strong understanding and implementation of HR best practices and procedures
- SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred
