Mulberry is partnering with our longtime client a family-owned company with 110-year deep PNW roots for a Payroll & HR Specialist. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Payroll Specialist eager to expand your skills in Human Resources. You will have the opportunity to work closely with the HR and Safety team reporting to the HR Director. They are an admired leader in their industry obsessed with providing the highest quality product courtesy of happy and healthy chickens.
A day in the life:
- Process bi-monthly payroll for 300+ employees located in three states using UKG.
- Responsible for maintaining Time & Attendance software reconciling timecards and transmitting payroll data to payroll company.
- Benefits enrollment, reporting, maintain of records and processing.
- Payroll reports using Excel and UGK.
- Maintain all employee records and files.
- Support HR team including onboarding new hires, interview and scheduling support, screening walk-in applicants, developing forms to support HR and Safety.
- Support the administration of employee leaves, workers compensation and unemployment claims and other HR administrative functions.
Your areas of knowledge and expertise:
- 3+ years of payroll processing experience and 2+ years of HR experience working with 200+ employees in multiple states with multiple sites
- Advanced Excel and proficient MS Office
- Experience working with HRIS and Payroll platforms
- Customer service mindset happy to support internal customers and employees
- Ability to maintain confidential information and professionally represent the HR team
