You will provide strategic and operational HR leadership across a growing, multi-location organization with 400 employees. The Regional HR Director will partner closely with executive leadership and HR teams across Washington and Oregon to strengthen HR practices, develop leaders, manage risk, and build scalable systems that support continued organizational growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, develop, and align HR leaders across Washington and Oregon offices while fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing.
- Standardize HR policies, processes, documentation, metrics, and reporting while supporting regional operational needs.
- Provide final guidance on complex or high-risk employee relations matters, including investigations, discipline, terminations, protected-class concerns, and potential litigation.
- Establish consistent, equitable, and legally defensible investigation and documentation standards while coaching HR leaders in risk assessment and compliant decision-making.
- Partner with executive leadership on workforce planning, organizational design, and long-term staffing models aligned with company growth.
- Identify capability and succession gaps and recommend structures that improve accountability and role clarity.
- Develop and implement a company-wide compensation philosophy and pay-band architecture that promotes consistency and equity across locations.
- Oversee performance management practices and coach managers on feedback, corrective action, and talent development.
- Oversee recruiting strategy and workforce forecasting to achieve quality-of-hire and time-to-fill goals.
- Build manager capability and internal career pathways through structured leadership development and training initiatives.
- Supervise and mentor HR and recruiting leaders across TMG, AMS, and Kennewick operations.
- Ensure compliant benefits administration, effective HRIS utilization and reporting, consistent documentation, and audit readiness.
Qualifications, Experience and Education:
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive HR leadership experience, including leadership of HR teams across multiple locations
- SHRM-SCP or SPHR certification and experience in property management or a service-based industry
- Strong executive presence with the ability to communicate effectively, influence decisions, and build trusted relationships at all levels of an organization.
- Proven success in talent development, mentorship, coaching and succession planning – developing future leaders
- Strong working knowledge of Washington and Oregon employment law and demonstrated experience navigating complex employee relations matters
- Create and drive HR strategy alongside executive leadership team including developing plans, establishing priorities, and aligning HR initiatives with business goals.
- Experience developing and implementing standardized HR systems, processes, and practices across multiple locations.
- Experience with workforce planning, organizational development, performance management, and leadership development.
- Knowledge of compensation structures and pay practices; experience developing compensation frameworks is highly valued.
- A collaborative, solutions-oriented leadership style with the ability to balance consistency across the organization with respect for individual office cultures.
- The ability to bring structure, organization, and clarity while remaining adaptable in a changing environment
Compensation and Benefits: $135 – $145K annual compensation. 100% employer paid healthcare benefits! PTO, holiday pay, 401(K) and more.
