Marketing and Event Coordinator

What you should know: Mulberry is partnering with a local mission-based service organization to hire a Marketing and Events Coordinator to support their team during a season of project work. This is a wonderful opportunity to gain exposure to marketing, events, and general administrative work. The ideal candidate must have a high attention to detail, be personable, have a continuous learner mindset and be able to pivot and prioritize.

A day in the life:

  • Serve as a collaborative liaison with internal staff and community partners.
  • Provide general support to Media Services and Community Risk Reduction teams
  • Assist with budget tracking and administrative procurement.
  • Coordinate logistics for community events such as station open houses, safety fairs, and tours.
  • Create, edit, and design flyers, presentations, and newsletter content.
  • Maintain and update contact databases for cities and public stakeholders.
  • Support internal communications via the TVF&R Briefing Tool.
  • Contribute content to social media and digital platforms.
  • Track and order public education and event materials.

Your areas of knowledge and expertise:

  • 2+ years of administrative experience
  • Experience in marketing and/or events highly desired
  • Intermediate proficiency in MS Office
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Compensation and Benefits: $27.50/HR with access to benefits via Mulberry’s employer of record partner.
