HR Assistant

What you should know: Mulberry has partnered with a local non-profit to hire a contract HR Assistant to provide interim support! You will have the opportunity to support onboarding, offboarding, recruiting, and other HR functions.
A day in the life:
- Coordinate new hire onboarding: prepare offer letters, verify I-9s, and set up HRIS profiles.
- Schedule orientations and ensure completion of onboarding tasks.
- Process terminations: update HRIS, prepare separation documents, and deactivate access.
- Support recruiting functions: maintain job postings, review resumes, and schedule interviews.
- Run audits and generate HR reports for compliance and leadership.
- Respond to employee inquiries and assist with HR policy and process questions.
Your areas of knowledge and expertise:
- 1+ years of HR experience
- Strong communication, analytical skills, and able to handle sensitive situations with diplomacy and confidentiality
- Experience in an HRIS/ATS required
Compensation and Benefits: $23-$25/HR with access to benefits via Mulberry’s employer of record partner.
