What you should know: Mulberry Talent Partners is partnering with a well-established beverage manufacturer in Southeast Portland to hire an Administrative and HR Assistant. This highly visible role serves as the heart of the office, supporting executive leadership, employee engagement initiatives, recruiting coordination, and day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and enjoys wearing many hats in a fast-paced, collaborative manufacturing environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives on building relationships, creating exceptional employee experiences, and keeping business operations running smoothly. From onboarding new employees and supporting the CEO to coordinating company events and managing office operations, no two days are the same.

A day in the life:

  • Manage office operations, including ordering supplies, snacks, beverages, and other workplace essentials.
  • Support the CEO with calendar management, travel arrangements, expense reporting, and external communications
  • Provide administrative support to the Senior Leadership Team, including scheduling, events, and special projects.
  • Coordinate employee onboarding, including badges, IT access, equipment setup, and company swag.
  • Maintain breakroom and common area cleanliness, organization, and inventory.
  • Perform payroll and HRIS data entry, audits, and employee record updates.
  • Plan and execute employee engagement initiatives and lead the STEEP Committee.
  • Coordinate Town Hall logistics, presentation management, and technology setup.
  • Support recruiting efforts through job postings, interview scheduling, candidate travel, and hiring coordination.
  • Partner with staffing agencies to manage temporary production and warehouse workforce needs.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Your areas of knowledge and expertise:

  • 2+ years of administrative support at the senior at executive level required
  • HR, talent acquisition, and event planning experience will stand out
  • Must have high attention to detail, be very organized with strong communication and professional presence and confidence
  • Dedicated to providing top-level internal customer service to employees

Compensation and Benefits: $26-$30/HR.  Impressive benefits upon fulltime hire.  Temporary benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401k and paid time off!  This is a great opportunity to build your network and learn new skills from an experienced HR leader!
