Marketing and Event Coordinator

What you should know: Mulberry is partnering with a local mission-based service organization to hire a Marketing and Events Coordinator to support their team during a season of project work. This is a wonderful opportunity to gain exposure to marketing, events, and general administrative work. The ideal candidate must have a high attention to detail, be personable, have a continuous learner mindset and be able to pivot and prioritize.
A day in the life:
- Serve as a collaborative liaison with internal staff and community partners.
- Provide general support to Media Services and Community Risk Reduction teams
- Assist with budget tracking and administrative procurement.
- Coordinate logistics for community events such as station open houses, safety fairs, and tours.
- Create, edit, and design flyers, presentations, and newsletter content.
- Maintain and update contact databases for cities and public stakeholders.
- Support internal communications via the TVF&R Briefing Tool.
- Contribute content to social media and digital platforms.
- Track and order public education and event materials.
Your areas of knowledge and expertise:
- 2+ years of administrative experience
- Experience in marketing and/or events highly desired
- Intermediate proficiency in MS Office
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Compensation and Benefits: $27.50/HR with access to benefits via Mulberry’s employer of record partner.
