Why All HR Professionals Need a Life Coach

The Mulberry Talent Partners team had the opportunity to sit down with Life Coach, Jen Trumm, to discuss why all HR professionals could use a life coach.

In this conversation, we cover:

  • If you are a professional in Human Resources and struggle with confidence and/or self-care, you need a Life Coach
  • Burnout is at an all-time high for HR Professionals. Burnout is a red flag that you are functioning from dysfunction.
    • When we are functioning from a place of “burnout” and not functioning from a place of calm and clarity,it trickles down into our personal and professional relationships and causes us to not produce our best work.
  • Not only can a Coach help you to become a better version of yourself both personally and professionally, through coaching, you can become an ambassador to the process of coaching for your organization

After a 20-year career in Human Resources, Jen is now a certified Life Coach for women in HR. She helps women push through the internal obstacles that are holding them back from living their lives with more authenticity and greater fulfillment.

Her focus is on women who struggle with the confidence to show up and speak up in a way that is authentically who she desires to be. She has inner self-talk that holds her back and keeps her continuously feels as though she’s not “good/smart/_____” enough. But she also feels drawn towards a higher purpose her life – she can feel it! She just needs the confidence to take that first step.

If you haven’t already, check out Jen’s Facebook Group “HR in the Middle”. It’s a support group for women in HR who want to learn how they can work on the skills that will help them to build the confidence that will allow her to become the person she is meant to be.
