What you should know: Mulberry is partnering with our longtime client a growing family-owned company who has been in business for over 50 years to identify a Payroll Administrator. They are a commercial roofing company with 100 employees. They have fun while working hard, recognize the value of work and life balance, and treat employees with respect. This is a new and key role as a part of the HR and Accounting team. This position is new to the company and a great opportunity for an experienced Payroll Administrator to take an established function to the next level!
A day in the life:
- Process weekly and bi-monthly payroll for hourly and salaried employees using QuickBooks Timesheets
- Enter and maintain all employee payroll related data into QuickBooks
- Review and approve field employee timesheets
- Weekly and monthly payroll taxes and liability payments
- Produce certified payroll reports
- Month end reporting including union reporting, workers compensation, insurance and other
- Year-end processing of W-2s and payroll tax preparation
- Manage employee leaves and unemployment claims
You bring:
- 5+ years of experience as a Payroll Administrator
- 3+ years of certified payroll experience
- Union experience preferred
- QuickBooks Timesheets experience preferred
- Experience working in OR and WA
- Interest in learning new responsibilities and being a part of a collaborative team
Compensation and Benefits: $80-$85K in annual compensation.
