A day in the life:
- Maintains accurate financial records.
- Preparation and posting of journal entries to ensure all financial transactions are properly recorded.
- Manage accounts payable including entry of bills and credit card payments.
- Reconciles AP discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
- Maintain offline financial tracking and reporting (example: Restricted Funds, Prepaids)
- Maintain process documentation to reflect latest operating practices.
- Maintains financial security by following internal controls.
- Ensure transactions are processed in compliance with both federal GAAP cost principles and agency fiscal policies and procedures.
Your areas of knowledge and expertise:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- 1-2+ years in accounts payable
- QuickBooks experience is preferred
- Must be able to work independently, resourceful, a critical thinker, and efficient
Compensation and Benefits: $25/HR with access to benefits via Mulberry’s employer of record partner.
