A day in the life:
- Draft, review, and negotiate various contracts including supply agreements, purchase orders, and service contracts.
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and company policies.
- Maintain and organize the company’s contract database and filing systems.
- Assist in the preparation of legal documents for litigation, including pleadings, discovery requests, and responses.
- Conduct legal research and summarize findings to support litigation strategies.
- Liaise with outside counsel and coordinate schedules, meetings, and document exchanges.
- Provide legal support for operational initiatives, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and safety standards.
- Assist in the development and implementation of internal policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with various departments to address legal concerns related to operations, employment, and regulatory matters.
- Maintain accurate records of legal documents and correspondence.
- Prepare reports and summaries for management as needed.
Your areas of knowledge and expertise:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3-5 years of paralegal experience
- Paralegal certificate required, JD highly desired
- Strong knowledge of contract law and litigation processes
- Proficient in legal file tools, XAKIA preferred
Compensation and Benefits: $45-$50/HR with access to benefits via Mulberry’s employer of record partner.
