The company values recognition, inclusion and feedback.  This is a great opportunity for an experienced HR Generalist with a mindset of a business partner and interest in continued growth and development while reporting to a hands-on, mentor style leader.  With a site headcount of about 215 employees, you will have influence and impact working with company leaders on performance management, leadership development, 1:1 coaching opportunities and direct employee interaction as a part of a collaborative HR team.

A day in the life:

  • Manage all aspects of employee relations functions for professional population including investigations, advising on complex employee relations issues and supporting corrective action.
  • Support companywide employee engagement activities and initiatives.
  • Develop and manage internship programs for Portland and other locations as needed.
  • Administer LMS course assignments, completion rates and deliver leader onboarding training.
  • Primary ownership for salaried full-cycle recruiting including developing requisitions and job descriptions, managing interview process and coordinating with hiring managers.
  • Serve as a strategic business partner to assigned groups offering proactive support, coaching and regular 1:1’s to stay ahead of emerging issues and changes.
  • Maintain confidential and accurate files and HRIS and employee data.
  • Provide back up to HR Generalist responsible for hourly recruiting, new hire orientations for production employees and to HR team.

Your areas of knowledge and expertise:

  • 2-5 years of HR Generalist experience in high volume, manufacturing settings
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
  • SHRM-CP or PHR certification highly desired
  • Proven ability to serve as a strategic HR business partner
  • Experience with SuccessFactors or other SAP preferred

Compensation and Benefits:

$80,000 – $90,000 in annual compensation plus bonus. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance that begin on day one, 10 paid holidays, generous PTO, 401k with employer matching and profit sharing, employee assistance plans, bonus plans, and more!
