What you should know: Mulberry is partnering with our longtime client, a Pacific Northwest safety compliance supplier and advisory company to identify a Director of People, Culture & Human Resources.  This is a critical role reporting to the CEO where you will partner with the Executive Leadership Team to drive strategic initiatives related to culture, well-being, and employee engagement.  You will work closely and proactively with your team to enhance HR tactical functions providing first-class service to their nearly 400 employees.  This company prides themselves on their unique vision and unending commitment to each project they work on and their support to their customers large and small.

A day in the life:

  • Lead the planning, development, and execution for talent acquisition, retention, employee relations, talent management, workforce effectiveness, compensation, benefits, performance appraisals, legal compliance, and other areas of HR
  • Guide and coach managers on employee issues and resolutions in accordance with company values, culture, policies, and relevant employment laws
  • Define short and long-term HR strategies and ensure an alignment with business strategies, developing HR KPIs and metrics to track providing analytics for business decisions relative to the workforce and organization
  • Ensure legal compliance and consistent application of HR policies and programs across the business
  • Enhances the organization’s ability to attract, develop and retain high quality talent, at all levels, particularly in key and high demand positions through promoting and demonstrating the company’s purpose, value, and culture internally and externally

Your areas of knowledge and expertise:

  • 5-8 years of experience as an HR director and/or senior manager level leading and developing an HR team including payroll, talent acquisition, employee engagement and relations, compensation, benefits, HR compliance and learning and development
  • Experience developing HR policies and best practices
  • Multi-site and multi-state experience preferred including OR, WA and CA
  • Experience working with field-based workforce
  • Experience with mergers and acquisitions as well as private equity preferred
  • Degree in Human Resources, Business or related field or equivalent experience required
  • SPHR or SCP certification highly preferred

Compensation and Benefits: $140-$160K plus incentive bonus in annual compensation.  Benefits include robust medical and wellness plans, PTO, holiday pay, 401k + company match.
