What you should know: Mulberry has partnered a local non-profit organization who are committed to doing things differently in order to make a difference. They have around 750 employees and work to provide jobs to those with disabilities. You will support their HR team and be a primary benefits liaison to their workforce!
A day in the life:
- Administer and maintain employee benefits programs, such as health insurance, retirement plans, wellness initiatives, employee assistance, and other benefits.
- Manage and administer leave of absence programs, such as FMLA, ADA, and PTO.
- Process enrollments, changes, terminations, and claims for the benefits programs.
- Perform benefits audits and reconciliations and ensure accuracy of data and payments.
- Coordinate and assist with benefits orientations, open enrollment, and wellness events.
- Act as a main point of contact for any HR benefits related inquiries.
- Oversee and maintain employee files and records in HRIS system.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulationsand 403b audits.
- Support with other HR responsibilities as needed.
Your areas of knowledge and expertise:
- 2-3+ years of benefits administration and leave of absence experience required
- Strong attention to detail, able to multi-task, and forward-thinking skills
- Exhibit initiative, responsibility, and flexibility
- Union experience highly desired
Compensation and Benefits: $70,000 – $75,000 annually with benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, FSA, life and AD&D insurance, 403(b) retirement, PTO and more!
