What you should know: Mulberry is partnering with our longtime client a growing family-owned company who has been in business for over 50 years to identify an AP Manager. They are a commercial roofing company with 100 employees. They have fun while working hard, recognize the value of work and life balance, and treat employees with respect.
A day in the life:
Accounts Payable
- Receive and enter in all AP invoices into QuickBooks.
- Review weekly unpaid AP invoices and provide list to President of company to review.
- Pay all AP invoices (via check form or specified credit card) that President has marked to be paid.
- File paid AP invoices.
- Reconcile all credit card and AP statements.
- Produce only and provide Positive Pay report out of QuickBooks for fraud prevention for when accounts payable invoices need to be paid.
- Rotate yearly AP files out and make new files for the coming year.
Payroll Backup
- Background and previous experience in payroll are requirements.
- Sitting with our payroll administrator to cross train in all functions.
- Experience with Enhanced Payroll in QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions needed.
- Knowledge of Oregon employment laws preferred.
- Knowledge of prevailing wage laws preferred.
Your areas of knowledge and expertise:
- 3-5 years of accounts payable experience and 1-2 years of payroll experience
- Experience with QuickBooks online
- Construction experience preferred
- Must be highly organized, a self-starter, able to multi-task, and a strong communicator
Compensation and Benefits: $35-$40/HR with benefits including high quality, low-cost health plans for employee and dependents, vacation, paid holidays and sick days, and 401k with employer match!
