What you should know: Mulberry is the proud partner of one of Portland’s most respected independent private schools. They are seeking an interim HR Generalist open to 20-40 hours per week for 6-12 weeks. This is a great opportunity to help a dedicated team who is doing good work to support their diverse employee population and get the school ready for next fall! This one is moving quickly, and we are excited to share this opportunity with our community of candidates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support all recruiting efforts including posting opportunities, general screening and scheduling interviews with hiring managers and following up with candidates
- Onboarding and new employee orientations
- Managing HR team inbox responding to inquiries, researching solutions and prior best practices providing overall HR customer service
- Answering and supporting benefits related questions
- Provide guidance and support to People Operations & Benefits Specialist and support HR leader
- Update organization’s HR documentation and process workflows
Your areas of knowledge and expertise:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources preferred, or HR Certification
- 5+ years of HR experience including 1 year of people leadership
- Ideal candidates will have experience in education or related field
- Display credibility, trustworthy and kind attributes
- Experience with HRIS systems, Rippling preferred and recruiting platforms
Compensation and Benefits: $35-$40/HR based on experience with opportunity to enroll in benefits including health, dental, vision, 401k and more via Mulberry’s partner employer of record. Temporary and contract opportunities are a great way to build your professional network!
