What you should know: Mulberry is partnering with a growing aluminum manufacturer in Vancouver, WA, to hire a Contract Product Documentation Consultant. Following recent growth and expansion of its dealer network throughout the West Coast, the company is looking for an experienced professional to build a comprehensive manufacturer resource library from the ground up, including product catalogs, specification sheets, installation guides, warranties, website content, and other technical and marketing materials.
This is a highly consultative project for someone who has previously created documentation for manufacturers or related industries. The ideal candidate will be a self-directed resource who can quickly learn the products, identify documentation gaps, recommend solutions, and independently drive the project forward with minimal oversight.
Responsibilities:
- Create professional product catalogs for their five products, and future product lines.
- Produce product specification sheets, warranty documents, installation guides.
- Manage product photography and lifestyle photography coordination, website product content.
- Create product comparison charts, color and finish guides, care and maintenance documentation, frequently asked questions, and downloadable marketing and technical resources.
Your areas of knowledge and expertise:
- 5-7+ years in product documentation in manufacturing
- Must have managed the full cycle of product documentation
- Experience in outdoor living/custom construction highly desired
- Must be execution-driven, resourceful, and organized
Compensation and Benefits: $70-$85/hour. Temporary benefits available including medical, dental, vision and 401k.
