They are seeking a Senior Operations Manager whose work style is collaborative and drives results by empowering team leaders to deliver work that improves listening and learning. Your expertise in key areas of vendor and contract management, ERP connectivity across operations and new product introduction will make you stand out as a candidate! Reporting to the CFO, you will have four direct reports and several dotted line reports. This company operates on a foundation of trust with transparency and collaboration, and you will share in the wealth the company builds as an employee owner.
A day in the life:
- Develop, execute and implement operations strategies for both short- and long-term objectives
- Alongside senior leadership support growth initiatives and cost optimization
- Establish and maintain partnerships with vendors, suppliers and contract manufacturers to guarantee high production quality, delivery, and cost effectiveness
- Hold responsibility for optimization of ERP system as it relates to operations
- Manage new product introduction initiatives and scaling
- Lead teams including Production, Service, and Procurement ensuring execution of operations plans, capacity balancing, procurement and logistics
- Collaborate with cross company teams and functions to support operational alignment
Your areas of knowledge and expertise:
- A bachelor’s degree in relevant field and APICS certification preferred
- 8-10 years of experience leading operations in a management role including people leadership
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, preferably electronics manufacturing
- Ability to prove and display expertise in key functions of vendor and contract management, ERP connectivity across operations and new product introduction
- Experience working in companies with $50-$100M in annual sales
- Strong business acumen and technical aptitude, especially use and optimization of ERP systems
Compensation and Benefits: $135-$140K in annual compensation plus top-notch benefits. A background check will be administered upon acceptance of offer. Hours are typically Monday-Friday with some travel up to 15%.
