What you should know: Mulberry is partnering with a construction consulting organization to hire a highly organized, proactive Recruiting & Talent Operations Coordinator to support candidate recruitment and hiring operations in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in ambiguity, moves quickly, and enjoys building structure where processes are still evolving. This position will primarily support recruiting operations and may also provide light administrative support to the CEO as needed.
A day in the life:
- Manage job postings across multiple platforms.
- Coordinate candidate flow and maintain applicant tracking systems.
- Conduct initial resume reviews and basic candidate pre-screening.
- May conduct first-round phone screens focused on information gathering and basic qualification.
- Schedule interviews across multiple stakeholders and time zones.
- Draft and coordinate offer letters using established templates.
- Serve as a primary point-of-contact for candidates throughout the hiring process.
- Support background checks and hiring documentation.
- Coordinate new hire onboarding logistics.
- Track completion of onboarding steps and required documentation.
- Support client-specific onboarding requirements when applicable.
- Provide light administrative support to the CEO (calendar coordination, scheduling, follow-ups).
- Assist with document preparation and internal coordination.
- Support ad hoc administrative needs as required.
Your areas of knowledge and expertise:
- 2-4+ years of experience in recruiting
- Polished communication: Friendly, professional, and confident verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in a start-up or fast-growth environment highly desired
- Construction experience preferred
Compensation and Benefits: $32-40/HR plus access to Mulberry’s employer of record partner.
