They are seeking an experienced HR Manager who honors their legacy while bringing fresh ideas to lead and administer all HR programs. Reporting to the CFO and collaborating closely with leadership, this role offers the chance to support a positive, dedicated, and engaged team of 300 employees across multiple states.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for management and administration of all human resources policies, programs, initiatives and projects while supervising a team of two.
- Serve as SME to maintain and make recommendations on up to date and compliant policies and best practices in accordance with all state and federal employment rules and laws across OR, WA and CA. Effectively communicate and roll out policy changes.
- Maintain employee and all related HR data and reporting in UKG
- Annual compensation review, salary survey, performance evaluation and employee development plans with managers.
- Oversee and ensure accuracy of team responsible for payroll and leaves administration as well as workers compensation.
- Administer employee open enrollment with an active role in evaluation of overall company benefit design and maintaining relationships with carriers. Annual retirement plan audit.
- Coach, guide and train managers on employee relations, investigations and corrective actions.
- Support companywide recruitment by posting open roles, updating job descriptions, interview training and coaching and onboarding of new hires.
- Maintain annual required training and development programs and opportunities including safety.
Your areas of knowledge and expertise:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field of study preferred.
- HR certification and active participation in continuing HR education required.
- Minimum of 7 years of tactical HR Generalist experience and at least 2 years of employee leadership in companies with 200+ employees across multiple states required.
- Experience and knowledge of HR and employment laws in OR, WA and CA required.
- Experience in multifamily housing, commercial real estate or other aligned industry preferred.
- Experience with up-to-date HRIS tools and systems required. UKG experience preferred.
- Professional, confidential, advisory style and accurate communication.
- Comfortable speaking in front of large groups and leadership teams.
Compensation and Benefits: Hybrid scheduling working onsite 1-2 days per week with very occasional travel. Competitive annual compensation DOE plus 15% bonus.
