What you should know: Mulberry has with a local production company in SW Portland to hire an English and Spanish Bilingual Payroll Manager! This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage payroll operations for a diverse workforce. The ideal candidate would have experience in seasonal industries, is bilingual in English and Spanish, and is very team oriented with an interest in learning new skills and being involved in employee engagement activities.
A day in the life:
- Administer bi-weekly payroll, ensuring compliance with all applicable state and federal wage and hour laws.
- Employee onboarding and off-boarding.
- Participate in annual renewals for 401k, and other benefits.
- Administer comprehensive benefits program, including assisting with open enrollment.
- Conduct EEOC annual reporting.
- Support workers’ compensation program including scheduled trainings, claims, return to work, OSHA log, etc.
Your areas of knowledge and expertise:
- 5+ years of payroll processing experience
- Bilingual English/Spanish required
- Experience using an HRIS for onboarding, payroll processing, benefits and employee data integrity
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, maintain organized paperwork, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, with frequent interruptions
Compensation and Benefits: $75,000 – $80,000 annually with benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401k, FSA, PTO, and more!
