Accountant
- Contract (2-3 months, possible conversion to fulltime)

What you should know: Mulberry is partnering with our client, a local manufacturing and construction firm with over 30+ years in the business, to hire an experienced Accountant. In this role, you will directly report to and work closely with the Controller. If you are an independent worker, self-starter and forward-thinking, this is the role for you! A day in the life:
- Generate General Ledger reports
- Financial report analysis
- Reconcile multiple Checking/Banking, Credit Card Accounts
- Generate detailed Project/Job reports
- Manage multiline A/P and oversee A/R
- Process Payroll functions, calculate commissions, and compile payroll, including reports
- Demonstrates high attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
- Must be able to make decisions and work independently; be detail-oriented with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Demonstrated knowledge and ability to negotiate, analyze and assess risk, and exercise sound judgment in making decisions.
- The goals and objective list are a general overview, additional responsibilities and tasks can be required.
Your areas of knowledge and expertise:
- 5+ years of full cycle accounting experience
- Construction background preferred
- Strong in MS Office, specifically Excel
- Deltek Computer Ease preferred
- Self-starter, independent, and forward-thinking attitude
Compensation and Benefits: $38-40/HR, with access to benefits via Mulberry’s employer of record partner.
