What you should know: Mulberry is partnering with a highly reputable company that is publicly listed and continuing to grow.  This role is open due to internal promotions showcasing their interest in ongoing employee development.  This is a hands-on role working directly with leaders and employees in manufacturing.  You will report to the HR Director and have three employees as a part of your HR team.  You will make an impact and be a part of the dedicated efforts around employee engagement, retention, development and training.

A day in the life:

  • Working closely with regional managers offering full cycle recruitment and onboarding for corporate and other non-hourly roles from job posting to offer
  • Serve as point of contact for employee questions and concerns proactively addressing employee issues and resolving conflict
  • Recommend employee relations practices necessary to establish a positive employer-employee relationship and promote a high level of employee morale and motivation.
  • Provide guidance and support to supervisors and managers regarding performance management best practices including identifying training needs and organizing learning opportunities
  • Coordinate and conduct training sessions covering specified areas such as new employee orientation, on-the-job training, and diversity training.
  • Ensure compliance with labor regulations and company policies.
  • Maintain employee records and HR documentation

Your areas of knowledge and expertise:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Current HR certification is preferred.
  • Must have a minimum of 7 years of experience as an HR Generalist or HR Manager, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the high-tech industry.
  • Expertise in employee relations and talent acquisition
  • Must be flexible to work with employees on different shifts and different locations, as needed
  • Able to work mainly in Vancouver, WA with some days in Hillsboro and Camas
