What you should know: Mulberry has partnered with a local small business to hire a Part-Time HR Generalist to support the owner. It is a great opportunity to work with a variety of organizations. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, process oriented, and dependable.
A day in the life:
- Recruitment & Onboarding: Assist in recruiting efforts, including posting job vacancies, screening resumes, conducting initial interviews, and coordinating onboarding activities for new hires.
- Benefits Administration: Coordinate and communicate employee benefits, answer questions related to health insurance, retirement plans, and other benefits, and assist in open enrollment processes.
- Payroll Support: Work with payroll to ensure accurate and timely processing of employee pay, address payroll-related inquiries, and ensure compliance with relevant payroll regulations.
- Training & Development: Help coordinate employee training programs, identify professional development opportunities, and maintain training records.
- Data Management: Maintain employee records accurately in HRIS and other HR systems, ensuring confidentiality and security of data.
- Special Projects: Assist with HR projects such as employee engagement initiatives, diversity and inclusion efforts, and continuous improvement of HR processes.
Your areas of knowledge and expertise:
- 2-3+ years in human resources
- Personable, detail oriented, highly communicative
- Experience in an ATS/HRIS; ADP is preferred
Compensation and Benefits: $30-$35/HR with benefits through Mulberry’s record of talent partner.
