HR Coordinator

What you should know: Mulberry Talent Partners is the proud partner to a local, well known production company with locations in Tillamook, Portland and Eastern, Oregon to hire an HR Coordinator. This is a wonderful opportunity to work closely with their HR team and support various HR functions including onboarding, data management, process improvement, and more while also learning new skills and expanding your network!
A day in the life:
- Enter data into HRIS software including new hires, terminations, job and payrate changes, name changes, etc.
- Administer all new hire forms (I-9, W-4, etc), respond to questions, and meet with new hires to complete forms and verify I-9.
- Interact as a front-line source for day-to-day inquiries
- Respond to employment verification requests.
- Maintain employee files
- Work with Talent Acquisition team regarding plant recruiting and new hire onboarding including building orientation packets
- Conduct walkthrough of work areas, engaging with team members and being present in the workspace
- Entering job changes/updates into UKG, keeping employee trackers, email reminders
Your areas of knowledge and expertise:
- High School Diploma; Associates Degree preferred.
- 3 years previous administrative experience and 1+ year of experience in HR
- Experience working with HRIS systems and MS Office, especially Excel required
- Awareness and knowledge of labor relations and collective bargaining agreements a plus
- Must be a self-starter, highly communicative, critical thinker, kind, and intuitive
Compensation and Benefits: $28-$32/HR with access benefits through Mulberry’s employer of record partner.
