What you should know: Mulberry is partnering with a non-profit mobility services organization that has been serving Oregon and Washington for over 40 years. They are seeking a collaborative and empathetic Executive Director to lead the organization into its next phase of growth and impact. Reporting to the Board of Directors, the Executive Director provides overall leadership, strategic direction, and operational oversight across all programs.

A day in the life:
- Provide strategic leadership in partnership with the Board to advance our mission and long-term sustainability.
- Oversee financial management, budgeting, fundraising, and grant development to ensure financial health.
- Lead and develop a strong management team, fostering a positive culture; directly supervise Regional and Program Managers and administrative staff, ensuring clear communication and collaboration.
- Manage operations, contracts, and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, funders, and community partners.
- Drive growth initiatives, program innovation, and technology strategies
Your areas of knowledge and expertise:
- Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university preferred
- Five years’ experience in progressively responsible roles with focus on business administration, leadership, and/or operations; at least one year in a senior management role.
- Supervisory experience in a public or private social service agency, including experience in planning, budgeting, and human resources management. *This includes a general understanding of payroll systems, employee benefits, and HR policies.
- Contract management and administration; must be able to analyze & interpret complex documents
- Ability to effectively respond to highly sensitive inquiries and complaints
- Adept with mathematical, statistical, and financial concepts; develop, analyze, and interpret financial and operational data
- Knowledge of the component parts of the Non-Emergency Medical Transportation system used to transport Medicaid recipients to medical services is preferred. This includes:
- public and private passenger transportation networks and modes
- inbound call center management
- patient and provider eligibility issues
- patient privacy and data security
Compensation and Benefits: $100-110K in annual compensation plus benefits
