What you should know: Mulberry is partnering with our client, a local Portland production company with a legacy of crafting high-quality food to families for over 40 years. In this role, you’ll report directly to the Sr. HR Manager and will foster a positive and productive work culture by proactively addressing employee concerns, facilitating conflict resolution, and employee development. The ideal candidate experienced in conducting workplace investigations, holds a bachelor’s degree in business, and is passionate about team development.
A day in the life:
- Promotes a safe work environment by actively listening to employee concerns, investigating issues, and resolving conflicts constructively.
- Partners with managers on conflict resolution and employee feedback, including interviews, documentation, and coaching.
- Conducts employee leadership and development training sessions.
- Administers employee terminations, including feedback and coaching documentation.
- Evaluates conflict and retention trends, identifying biases and developing onsite training to improve outcomes.
- Performs other duties and tasks as assigned.
Your areas of knowledge and expertise:
- 2 years of experience in workplace investigations
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience
- Experience in food manufacturing or general manufacturing industries
- SHRM-CP or PHR certification is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and documentation
- Exhibits strong organizational and problem-solving skills, actively engaging with employees and maintaining a visible presence throughout the organization.

Compensation and Benefits: $65,000 – $90,500k annually depending on experience level with benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401k, paid holidays, vacation, and more!
