Mulberry Talent Partners has joined with our client, a company located in Ridgefield, WA to identify a Corporate Recruiter to join their team. This is an onsite, full-time, direct hire role. The Recruiter is responsible for full-lifecycle recruitment, sourcing, and hiring employees in the manufacturing field. You will develop and manage consultative relationships with hiring managers, human resources partners, key operational stakeholders, and workforce planning. You can attract candidates using various sources, including social media networks, community partners and employee referrals. You will nurture personal and professional networks to develop active and passive talent pipelines while being sensitive to our organizational needs and our public image. Additionally, you will provide reporting and regular status updates to recruitment leadership and hiring managers.

Your Role:

  • Develops and leads focused recruitment strategies based on organizational needs.
  • Collaborates and maintains ongoing relationships with hiring managers to fully understand organizational needs and tailor recruitment solutions accordingly.
  • Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the recruitment process.
  • Collaborates with department managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.
  • Source and recruit candidates by using databases, social media, third parties (headhunters, temporary agencies), etc.
  • Screens candidates and selects qualified candidates for managers to review.
  • Schedules interviews: Partners with managers to create interview questions and other hiring and selection materials.
  • May assist with the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with managers, and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborates with the hiring manager and/or other human resource staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending start dates, and other pertinent details.
  • Collaborates with the HR team and other staff in the creation, development, and maintenance of retention strategies in job specific areas. For example, skilled trades.
  • Trains hiring managers and teams on recruitment and interviewing process. Collects and analyzes data on demographics and hiring activities.
  • Attends and participates in college job fairs and recruiting sessions.
  • Stays up to date with recruitment trends. Assists HR with setting up pre-employment tasks.
  • Conducts onboarding (on-site location). May assist virtually to other locations if needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred.
  • 3-5 years’ experience required preferrable in the manufacturing, engineering setting.
  • Experience recruiting critical hard to fill positions.
  • Experience using various sourcing techniques including the internet, advertising, community resources and networking.
  • Experience using Applicant Tracking or HRIS systems to streamline and simplify processes.
  • Previous Human Resources experience or HR degree strongly preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills to keep team informed of projects, workflow, candidate status and more.
  • Knowledge of full lifecycle recruitment process including knowledge of behavioral interview and selection process.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of federal and state specific laws, acts and regulations associated with employment laws and their application to recruitment processes and transactions.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications (Outlook, Excel, Word and PPT) required
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems.

Compensation rate: $75-90K
