What you should know: Mulberry is partnering with a midsize, fast growing specialty healthcare organization serving 40 locations and 600 employees in the Pacific Northwest.  This is a new role created to accommodate company growth with a focus on employee relations, training and development, performance management and compliance. The position formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflect the business objectives of the organization.  You will report to the Human Resources Director who is collaborative, supports employee development and leads through a lens of strategy.  Enjoy a hybrid and flexible work schedule in SW Portland as a part of a cohesive team.

A day in the life:

  • Strategic HR Partnership – Provide HR guidance to business leaders, aligning People strategies with organizational goals to drive performance and engagement.
  • Employee Relations & Compliance – Manage employee relations issues, conduct investigations, ensure legal and regulatory compliance, and foster a fair and ethical workplace.
  • Training & Development – Identifies training needs for business units, create and oversee content, deliver training sessions
  • Performance & Talent Management – Support People managers in performance coaching, workforce planning, and succession strategies to build a high-performing organization.
  • Policy Development & Implementation– Develop and implement HR policies, oversee employee handbook updates, evaluate and optimize training initiatives to enhance organizational capability.
  • HR Analytics & Decision Support – Use HR data and metrics to identify trends, inform strategic decision- making, and improve overall HR effectiveness.

Your areas of knowledge and expertise:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • 5-7 years of experience as an HRBP in healthcare, professional services or adjacent industry
  • Expertise in HR best practices, employment law, and able to develop and interpret HR policies and procedures
  • Skilled in handling employee relations and conflict resolution
  • Experience in performance management and talent development including coaching leaders
  • Display strengths in strategic thinking, business acumen, change management and adaptability

Compensation and Benefits: $115-$125K, with a comprehensive benefits package including healthcare, PTO, holiday pay, 401(k) plan, and employee discounts on services and products.
