What you should know: Mulberry is partnering with a mid-size law firm in Lake Oswego who provides a full range of transactional and litigation services. They are seeking an experienced Paralegal with at least two years of experience in taxation, estate planning and guardianships/conservatorships who is open to a temporary assignment with potential to convert to fulltime employment. A day in the life:
- Assist Attorney with creation and drafting of estate plan documents ensuring compliance with state (OR and WA) and federal regulations
- Maintain client files and updating records
- Prepare and file probate and court documents
- Interview clients to gather information regarding estate and trust plans
- Assist with preparation of estate, gift and fiduciary income tax returns
Your areas of knowledge and expertise:
- 2+ years’ experience as a Paralegal working in estate planning
- Enjoy working as a part of a team and display willingness to be flexible and ability to be resourceful
- Professional communication when interacting with both internal staff and external clients
Compensation and Benefits: $30-35/HR. Benefits offered to temporary employees including medical, dental, vision and more!
