What you should know: Mulberry Talent is partnering with a leading wholesaler who is seeking a Senior Vice President of Finance & Technology Solutions. This hands-on leader will own financial strategy, elevate organizational financial literacy, and drive technology and analytics to fuel rapid growth. The role includes leading integrations and acquisitions, scaling operations, and building a culture of servant leadership and collaboration—all while partnering with senior leadership to unlock lasting value for stakeholders.
A day in the life:
Strategic Finance Leadership
- Lead finance and technology strategy to align with growth initiatives.
- Define & implement standard operating procedures for all core functions (FP&A, accounting, treasury, tax, payroll, procurement, IT, data management)
- Partner with executive team to balance growth, profitability, risk management, capital allocation.
- Build foundational capabilities in finance and technology, ensuring scalable processes, controls, and governance.
Technology Solutions and Data Enablement
- Lead technology strategy and architecture across ERP/financial systems, CRM, and cybersecurity.
- Drive data governance and self-service analytics to empower decision-making across departments.
- Oversee financial risk management, tax planning, treasury operations, and regulatory compliance
Integrations, M&A, and Growth Enablement
- Lead due diligence, integration planning, and post-merger assimilation for acquisitions and strategic partnerships.
- Establish integration playbooks across finance, IT, data, HR, and operations to capture synergies.
Team Development and Servant Leadership
- Build and develop a high-performing, cross-functional team across finance, IT and operations.
- Foster a culture of servant leadership, psychological safety, mentorship, and continuous learning.
Stakeholder Management and Communication
- Partner with executives, the board, investors, and auditors to ensure transparency and alignment.
- Represent the company on financial and tech concepts with external partners.
Your areas of knowledge and expertise:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field required; CPA, CFA, or CMA preferred.
- 10+ years in finance, technology, or combined leadership roles; experience in high-growth or M&A environments.
- Expertise in building scalable financial systems, reporting, and governance in a fast-evolving business.
- Strong background in ERP/financial systems and data analytics platforms; experience with integration platforms and data governance.
- Proven leader of cross-functional teams with a servant leader approach.
Compensation and Benefits: $215K in annual compensation plus benefits to include up to 40% bonus, 401k, vacation, paid sick time, holiday pay and more.
