What you should know: Mulberry has partnered with a well-established and 100% employee-owned construction organization to hire a Bilingual HR Coordinator. Reporting to the Human Resources Director, you will manage HR files and records, be a main POC for employees and candidates for HR related questions, and act as a liaison between vendors and the company. Additionally, you will assist with benefits enrollment, company-wide events, talent acquisition, and support the safety team. The ideal candidate will enjoy providing HR support including administrative tasks and services to support effective and efficient operations of the human resource department. A day in the life:
- Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation.
- Answers frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.
- Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.
- Performs periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately
- Provides clerical support and other duties as assigned.
- Acts as a liaison between the company and external benefits providers and vendors, which may include health and disability plan providers.
- Conducts or assists with new hire orientation.
- Assists with planning and execution of special events such as benefits enrollment, organization-wide meetings, employee recognition events, holiday parties, and hotel and airfare.
- Assist with talent acquisition process, which may include recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of qualified job applicants.
- Provides support for safety management team by reviewing policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Assist with employee disciplinary meetings and maintain records.
Your areas of knowledge and expertise:
- High school education or equivalent. Associates or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 1-2 years of Human Resources experience.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
- Must have attention to detail, organization, and high level of responsiveness.
- Interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
Compensation and Benefits: $60,000-$65,000 annually with benefits including healthcare insurance, 401k, paid holidays, vacation, and more!
