HR & Onboarding Coordinator

What you should know: Mulberry Talent Partners is the proud partner to a food production company that has been in operation for over 100 years! This is a wonderful opportunity to get your foot in the door and gain experience in HR and onboarding. You will support recruiting, onboarding & orientation, and provide administrative support to the Talent Acquisition team.
A day in the life:
- Serve as the central point of contact for all pre-employment processing activities.
- Initiate and manage drug screening and background checks post-offer acceptance.
- Coordinate with third-party vendors and local providers.
- Ensure completion of onboarding documents.
- Maintain confidentiality and compliance with HR screening protocols.
- Understand what information can be requested and from whom.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders including hiring managers, HR team members, and recruiters.
- Communicate with external parties such as candidates and vendors.
- Coordinate orientation logistics.
- Maintain and update a comprehensive spreadsheet tracking all pre-employment activities.
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of data entries.
Your areas of knowledge and expertise:
- 1+ year of HR onboarding experience
- Experience within an ATS/HRIS, and MS Office
- Must be inquisitive, resourceful, highly organized with a strong attention to detail
- Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus
Compensation and Benefits: $27-$30/HR. As a contract employee you will have access to benefits through our payroll partner including medical, dental, vision, 401k, paid sick time and more.
