Talent Acquisition Manager – Seattle

Mulberry Talent Partners has joined with our client, a global financial services firm, in Downtown Seattle to identify a Talent Acquisition Manager. In this role you will manage the Talent Acquisition function to drive an innovative strategy and vision around identifying, attracting, and acquiring top talent to efficiently and effectively support the growth objectives of the company.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and implement an innovative Talent Acquisition strategy that aligns with the business and can support the acquisition of candidates in various markets that present challenges in identifying qualified candidates.
  • Manage the Talent Acquisition team by providing a clear vision of success and encouraging career growth and personal development for team members.
  • Review and enhance day-to-day recruiting processes to create efficiencies.
  • Establish strong and trusting partnerships with business leaders and hiring managers throughout the company to ensure talent acquisition strategies align with specific business needs.
  • Conduct full cycle recruiting for senior and executive level searches.
  • Partner with the Marketing team to incorporate the company’s rebranding efforts to develop a talent brand that effectively portrays the unique and innovative culture.
  • Partner with HR Business Partner to enhance and manage the firm’s diversity recruiting strategy.
  • Partner with hiring managers and other key stakeholders to create awareness around the importance of the interviewing and screening process to ensure that top quality candidates are hired.
  • Partner with Learning and Development Associate to review and enhance interview skills trainings.
  • Oversee testing and evolution of candidate assessments.
  • Develop recommendations and action plans in areas of strategic focus, based on analysis of external data, internal operational metrics, and qualitative data.
  • Lead implementation of all talent acquisition and recruiting initiatives
    • Enhance and grow the College Recruiting Program
    • Workday Recruiting Module reviews and enhancements
  • Establish key metrics and reporting of recruiting statistics and data.
  • Be an innovator and agent of change to enhance the way in which the company identifies, attracts and acquires top talent.
  • Create strong strategic partnerships with external networking groups, relevant industry associations and select search firms.
  • Maintain current knowledge on various employment laws and regulations that impact recruiting.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s in Business or Human Resources preferred.
  • 10+ years of Talent Management and/or Recruiting experience.
  • 3+ years of managing a team.
  • Candidates with finance backgrounds or financial recruitment experience strongly preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, entrepreneurial and collaborative environment.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain productive partnerships with business leaders.
  • Strong change management skills, ability to influence, direct and communicate change.
  • A strong track record of solving complex problems, exhibiting strategic thinking, and delivering significant impact.
  • Proven ability to redefine Talent Acquisition practices, processes and technology.
  • Ability to think strategically, plan, and execute on multiple projects simultaneously in an organized fashion.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to meet and exceed deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Experience with Workday Recruiting and/or other Application Tracking Systems is a plus.
