Senior Manufacturing Recruiter – Milwaukie

Mulberry Talent Partners has joined with our client in Milwaukie to identify a Senior Manufacturing Recruiter for a direct hire/temp to hire opening. In this position you will be responsible for setting the recruitment strategy for multiple roles and ensuring that positions are filled efficiently.

Responsibilities at a glance:

  • Research and develop the recruitment strategy and applicant sources
  • Develop and execute recruiting plans to fill jobs timely in accordance with set guidelines and standards
  • Manage the use of external recruiters/staffing agencies to streamline the direct-hire processes and minimize costs
  • Maintain current knowledge of legislation related to recruitment/hiring practices and make recommendations on policies and practices accordingly
  • Provide guidance on acceptable hiring practices to hiring managers
  • Manage the onboarding process from offer letter to pre-employment screenings to completion of new hire tasks ensuring a smooth transition onto the team
  • Work closely with Human Resources team to maintain current and accurate library of job descriptions
  • Ensure the applicant flow is continually moving forward, supporting a positive and prompt applicant experience
  • Deliver a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment and onboarding process

Requirements:

  • Minimum 4 years’ recruiting experience
  • Experience recruiting within a manufacturing environment is highly preferred
  • A mix of agency and internal recruiting a plus
  • Skilled in the use of applicant tracking systems and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proven ability to multi-task and productively utilize time
  • Strong level of initiative
  • Professional demeanor and ability to interact with a diverse population
