HR Payroll and Benefits Specialist – Downtown Portland
Mulberry Talent Partners has joined with our client, a large non-profit in downtown Portland, to identify an HR Payroll and Benefits Specialist for their human resources team. The ideal candidate will be an efficient multitasker, experienced with both payroll and benefits, and comfortable with managing multiple responsibilities.
In this direct-hire role, you will be responsible for preparing and processing semi-monthly payroll and administering compensation and benefits in compliance with regulatory, policy, and Collective Bargaining Agreement requirements. In this role, you will report to and assist the Director of Human resources with processing employee forms, overseeing the processing and administration of benefits, ensuring legal and policy compliance, processing and reconciliation of all benefit entitlements, and processing workflows.
The ideal candidate:
You bring 5 years’ experience in Human Resources including processing payroll and benefits administration. You have a demonstrated knowledge of Federal and State wage and hour laws and payroll practices. You also have excellent computer skills; a demonstrated ability to use accounting, word processing, spreadsheet, e-mail, and Internet programs. Experience with ADP Workforce Now is a plus.
