McMinnville Manufacturing and Labor Relations HR Manager

Mulberry Talent Partners has joined with our client to identify a Labor Relations HR Manager for their McMinnville manufacturing facility. In this key role, you will direct all human resource functions and labor relations for this robust facility. Candidates must have labor relations experience and experience within a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities at a glance:

  • Managing, investigating and resolving all employee and labor relations matters
  • Lead the implementation and development of human resource programs and policies
  • Timely and accurate implementation of various functional policies, procedures and systems
  • Communicate, implement and execute changes throughout all of the facility through the various other operational departments
  • Interface and coordinate human resource issues with facility leadership
  • Provide meaningful information to drive business improvements and identify business opportunities
  • Evaluate and interpret operating activities and results; make recommendations for improvement; supervise design of systems to improve control; direct special analysis projects
  • Review monthly reporting metrics and ensure adjustments are recorded and documented appropriately
  • Foster an ethical business environment.  Implement controls in accordance with regulations and laws.  Maintain current knowledge of internal control changes and refine internal control process as necessary
  • Interacting with senior management and external agencies/groups as necessary


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business; Master’s Degree in Human Resources preferred
  • 10+ years’ comprehensive human resources experience including 5+ years’ experience with labor relations (bargaining, grievance management and full representation of the company)
  • Leadership experience within a manufacturing setting required
  • SPHR or SHRM-SCP preferred
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and ERP systems
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to build relationships
  • Ability to manage large-scale, complex projects
  • Must possess and be able to apply a broad knowledge of planning principles, policies, practices and techniques
