Human Resources Business Partner – Direct Hire – Portland

Mulberry Talent Partners has joined with our client, a tried and true Oregon professional services organization, to identify a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) for their dynamic team in Portland. In this role, you will provide insightful and strategic guidance in areas including employee relations, policy development, and training. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to influence at all levels of an organization and exceptionally strong project management skills.

Responsibilities at a glance: 

  • Provide support for employee and manager needs, including performance guidance, employee relations, investigations and end-of-employment situations
  • Work to diagnose issues that may have underlying human resources implications and drive solutions for change and business or financial impact
  • Administer the performance management program to ensure effectiveness, compliance, and equity within organization 
  • Assess and implement programs to continuously seek employee feedback and utilize data to recommend and implement employee attraction and retention programs
  • Administer leaves of absence in conjunction with benefits team
  • Partner with Organizational Effectiveness team in the identification, development and delivery of training and development in support of HR and organizational needs
  • Identify legal requirements and government regulations affecting human resources functions and ensure policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance and communicated


  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field of study
  • 3-5 years’ experience in an HR leadership position with strengths in employee relations, performance management, employee development, talent management, compensation and benefits, and data analysis
  • Demonstrated growth and progression as a Human Resources Business Partner, or similar role
  • Proven ability to provide a strategic perspective in the design and development of business initiatives
