HR Manager – Direct Hire – Pearl District

Mulberry Talent Partners has joined with our client in the Pearl to identify a Human Resources Manager.  In this role, thinking outside the box is encouraged.  You will execute all facets of human resource functions in a fast-paced hands-on environment, helping to propel both teams and the organization forward.  The ideal candidate will be well versed in creating and nurturing HR relationships within an organization and lead employee relations, compliance and recruitment functions.

Responsibilities at a glance:

  • Assists in the refresh, development and implementation of human resources policies to meet organizational needs and comply with state and federal laws
  • Responds to inquiries regarding company policies, procedures, and programs
  • Conducts necessary investigations on employee relations issues and advises management on appropriate resolution
  • Assists with development of job descriptions for new and modified positions
  • Champions full-cycle recruitment process, including attracting, hiring and onboarding
  • Advises management regarding hiring decisions, equal employment opportunity, compensation, benefits, and health/safety issues
  • Identifies and analyzes legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance
  • Monitors employee performance reviews, counseling, disciplinary actions, and performance improvement plans; oversees involuntary termination procedures; and approves employee separation notices and related documentation
  • Maintains all worker’s compensation proceedings, safety and personnel records


  • 4-8+ years Human Resources management experience, showing a clear progression to include the full complement of HR Generalist responsibilities
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • HR Certification preferred (SHRM or HRCI) 
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office, HRIS and ATS systems
  • Thrive working in a team-oriented environment, exude positivity and approachability while leveraging experience to increase retention and build positive team morale
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, ability to multi-task while maintaining attention to the littlest of detail
  • Able to maintain a high level of confidentiality and handle sensitive information in a professional manner
  • Must be able to pass drug test, possess a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
