HR Generalist – Direct Hire – NE Portland

This is a newly crafted role, part of a growing HR team tasked with all people initiatives at their Portland location.  As part of a busy global manufacturing company, you’ll thrive in this role if you enjoy working as part of a team to support site employees and Hiring Managers, as well as executing on a variety of HR tasks and projects.  

What you’ll be doing… 

You’ll be partnering directly with the HR Manager to champion multiple facets of HR including recruiting, employee relations, training, onboarding and benefits and leave administration.  Whether you’re on the manufacturing floor overseeing training or in a conference room developing strategy with Hiring Managers, you are engaged with daily business.  You’ll lead orientation, investigations and support training programs for employees. You will also lead all leave administration activities for the site.  

What you bring… 

  • 2-5+ years in a similar HR role  
  • Manufacturing experience preferred 
  • Union environment experience preferred  
  • Bachelor’s Degree
