What you should know: Mulberry is partnering with our client, a renowned banking institution with over 100 years in the industry with 17 branches, to hire a Senior HR Generalist. You will report to HR Manager and serve as the cornerstone for all day-to-day HR functions, from benefits and leaves to payroll, recruitment, and HRIS management. This opportunity offers the perfect blend of flexibility and work-life balance, with a hybrid schedule that allows you to spend three days onsite and two days working remotely. A day in the life:

  • Manage and track various leave of absence types (FMLA, Washington Paid Leave, Oregon Family Leave, etc.) and provide guidance to employees.
  • Maintain and update employee information such as personal data, compensation, benefits, and attendance.
  • Respond to HR inquiries, provide policy guidance, and assist with various HR projects.
  • Ensure confidentiality and compliance with all data privacy regulations.
  • Upload and maintain employee data in the HRIS system; pull reports and deliver HR metrics to leadership.
  • Track and file I-9 documents in compliance with legal requirements.
  • Assist with recruitment activities, including managing applicant tracking systems and generating recruitment reports.
  • Document HR/Payroll processes and cross-train team members.

Your areas of knowledge and expertise:

  • Associate’s degree with two years of related human resources experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Extensive knowledge on leaves, benefit transactions, and generating reports.
  • Experience with HRIS systems and MS Office, especially Excel experience required.
  • Collaborative, curious, and highly communicative.

Compensation and Benefits: $75-$85k/YR with healthcare benefits, 401K plan, short term & long-term disability coverage, life insurance, vacation & sick time, educational assistance, and several holidays.
