Mulberry Talent Partners has joined with our client, a company located in Wilsonville, OR and Salem, OR to identify an Operations Manager to join their team. This is a full-time, direct-hire, onsite position. The position will oversee the operations of the inside sales, logistics and warehouse staff of a $60M export business and be a member of the leadership team. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to work tactically and effectively with all team members, as well as strategically to execute all aspects of coordinating with the logistics and warehousing managers.

Your Role: 


  • Participate on management team regarding business issues
  • Manage various projects
  • Work with warehouse and logistics teams to develop and implement processes for warehouse and logistical communication and work flow.
  • Assess, improve or develop, and implement processes between sales, logistics, warehouse, and invoicing.
  • Review staffing needs for the company
  • Assist with training where needed
  • Inventory – Work with warehouse and sales to create and manage inventory control processes
  • Liaison between the office and warehouse on business priorities

Job Duties:

  • Establish key performance indicators, monitor and improve ongoing performance in support of organizational goals
  • Manage and develop team members toward their professional objectives, aligned with and in support of the goals of the company
  • Develop and implement new systems, best practices, inventory control, demand planning, and other optimizations in order to reduce cost, and grow the business
  • Work closely with sales, logistics and warehouse teams to define and direct logistics programs/solutions
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance effective communications methods to ensure real-time response to questions and
  • up-to-date availability of data to support logistics team members
  • Develop and present warehouse operations analysis reports for the executive team (in coordination with existing warehouse manager)
  • Develop, implement, and enhance ongoing training, including, but not limited to (in coordination with existing warehouse manager):
  • Safety and safe work habits/procedures
  • Machine and tool operation, including lift trucks and other heavy equipment as needed
  • Workflow best practices

You Bring:

  • 4-6 years in an operations / supervisory capacity leading teams & individuals
  • Comfortable leading discussions ranging from initial discovery and brainstorming, through technical
  • scoping/data gathering, and then finally presenting solutions
  • Experience running education/training sessions
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, or related field preferred
  • Coursework and/or certifications in logistics or supply chain desirable

Compensation: $75,000-$85,000
