Mulberry Talent Partners has joined with our client, a food manufacturer, in North Portland to identify an HR Generalist for their team. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of relevant human resources experience, either in an HR Generalist role or as an HR Coordinator with progressive responsibilities.
This is a full time, direct hire role. As the HR Generalist, you will be responsible for day-to-day administration of policies and human resource programs: recruiting, compensation and benefits, training, employee and labor relations, safety, and basic payroll functions. You will ensure maintenance of policies and procedures, record new or revised pay rates in the HRIS system, compile payroll data, and assist the HR Manager.
The ideal candidate:
You have a Bachelor’s degree in HR or a related field, 5+ years of Human Resources experience in employee relations, leave of absences, benefits, and other HR generalist roles with minimum guidance. You are collaborative, flexible, consistent, and professional. You have a strong knowledge and experience with Federal and state employment law, including leaves of absence, ADA, EEO, FLSA, etc. Professional Certification (PHR, SPHR,) preferred.
