Mulberry Talent Partners: Client Services Division, has joined with our client, a company located in Palo Alto greater area to identify a Director of Business Development to join their team. This is an onsite, full-time, direct-hire role for a very successful, nearly $10 billion private wealth advisory firm providing tax and investment management services to high net-worth clientele. This role has incredibly high growth potential and you will directly enhance and scale the organization’s clientele and presence in the Greater San Francisco Bay Area.

Your Role:

  • You will work with and support the financial advisory team by catering to the firm’s individuals and families of traditional businesses, consulting practices and emerging technology firms, regarding issues such as:
    • Investment portfolio construction and management; long-term investment strategy
    • Income tax planning, including federal and state tax return preparation
    • Public and private company stock, stock options, restricted stock units, and stock purchase plans
    • Retirement and other forward-looking planning
    • Estate plan architecture; gifting strategies; estate and gift taxes
  • Partner with advisors to ensure client needs are met
  • Go above and beyond for existing clientele
  • Extensive networking in the SF Bay area

You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA, CFP strongly preferred;
  • FINRA Series 65, strongly preferred
  • Minimum 5-10 years of demonstrated success in the self-generation of qualified leads to established or emerging wealthy individuals and families
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills: the successful candidate eventually is expected to work with clients, give group presentations, and lead client and business development efforts
  • Extensive Microsoft Office and Salesforce experience and good overall computer skills
  • Experience serving executive/professional clients and exercising a high level of discretion
  • Previous experience in financial industry sale strongly preferred

Compensation Rate: $155,000-$175,000 & compensation for clientele brought on.
