Mulberry Talent Partners has joined with a wholesale distributor in the Tigard area to identify an Accounting Manager for a direct-hire career opportunity. In this senior-level leadership role, you will direct the company’s accounting functions to assist the company and team in making educated economic decisions about the future of the company.

The role: 

As the Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the functions of the accounting department, ensuring that internal controls are up to date with industry best practices, preparing and maintaining ledgers, records, and financial statements, generating trend reports, managing department budgets, and ensuring confidentiality and security. As a member of the organization’s leadership team, it will be your responsibility to comprehensively manage the accounting operations of the company and ensure efficiency and accuracy.

The Ideal Candidate:

Your background includes a Bachelor’s degree in finance or closely related field, CPA Licensing, 5 years’ experience as an Accounting Manager (preferably in a wholesale/trades distribution setting), and management experience of 3+ years of at least 5 employees. You bring experience in utilizing principles and best practices related to Finance and Administration, as well as demonstrated proficiency in analyzing financial data and preparing reports. You possess a high level of problem solving, analytical, and negotiating skills.
