Senior HR Generalist

  • Contract (6+ months) working 25 hours per week
  • Mostly remote, working one day in Beaverton

Amazing opportunity to be a part of something special!  You will work alongside the Director of People & Culture to support the ongoing development of key HR initiatives and support the day-to-day tactical People Operations department.  You will thrive in a high-performance, collaborative work environment which supports achieving the organization’s mission, vision, strategic plan, and values through a lens of diversity and inclusion.

A day in the life:

  • Under the direction of the P&C Director establish and deliver HR policy and practices maintaining compliance under HR laws and regulations in relation to performance management, employee relations, DEI initiatives and more.
  • Provide ongoing support to current and former employees in multiple states regarding 401k, open enrollment, benefits administration, COBRA, unemployment and any other HR, payroll and benefit related questions and reporting requirements.
  • Oversee outsourced payroll provider ensuring accurate payroll procession and compliance with compensation guidelines.
  • Assist the Director of P&C to identify ongoing training and development opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and prepare HR reports and analytics.
  • Report to the office in Beaverton once a week for mail, scanning of critical documents and required meetings.

Your areas of knowledge and expertise:

  • 5+ years’ experience working as a Senior HR Generalist
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field as well as HR certification preferred
  • Strong knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices across multiple states
  • Paylocity experience required
  • Strategic, logical and decision-making skills required

Compensation: $40-$45 per hour
